Coming from TOULOUSE :
By the main road, it will take about 2 hours, passing throught the
valley of Ax les Thermes and the tunnel of the Puymorens , the
amblers may take the col where they will have an
exceptional panoramic view of the immensity and diversity of the
Montain Range. You will be in Cerdagne. In the little village of Ur,
take the first road on your left, in direction of Font Romeu, after 7
km(4 miles) you will see our farm at the entrance of Targasonne.
Coming from BARCELONA :
By the main road, via the tunnel of Cadi, will take 2 hours, you
will reach the plane of low Cerdagne, very fruitful and edged by high
summits, the hillsides are covered by large forests. You drive to
Puigcerda, the village of Ur then finally to Targasonne. We are
the first farm on the right at the entrance of the village, in the
hamlet of « Lô baynat de baïx » ( it means in Catalan the “
hamlet at the bottom of the village”).
Coming from PERPIGNAN :
By the national road 116 one and half hours steady climb to Font
Pédrouse (1050m of altitude) follow by a teep climb to Mont Louis
(fortified town by Vauban). You are at a short range . Drive throught
Font Romeu towards Targasonne. The farm is at the exit of the
village, just after the swimming pool, on the left
By Train from PARIS :
The Cerdagne have an international railway station, Enveigt-la tour de
Carol, The best way of reaching, it is by overnight train from Paris.
Then take the littlr yellow train ( the train highest non
racked railway in Europe)for a wonderful ride to Font Romeu. There we
can meet you if required.
For the amblers passing via CARCASSONNE :
You can get to Carcassonne by the « Autoroutes du Sud de la
France » or by air ( Ryanair). From Carcassonne take the very
picturesque road that Wins up the valley of the Aude, passing
Through Limoux, Quillan, the “Cathar’s area”, and Axat, the
tableland of the Capcir. At the roundabout of Mont Louis,
turn right to Font Romeu and Targasonne. . After passing through
Targasonne you will see the farm on the left, just after the
swimming pool.
